Giant Tiger: Dave Lalande inducted into PMTC Hall of Fame for Professional Drivers
We are thrilled to announce that Dave Lalande of Giant Tiger has been inducted into the Private Motor Truck Council of Canada’s (PMTC) Hall of Fame for Professional Drivers during its annual conference on June 19th in Niagara Falls, Ontario.
Dave Lalande exemplifies a commitment to service and safety. His 35 years of career and over 4.9 million kilometers of accident and incident-free driving highlight his exceptional professionalism. Dave joined Giant Tiger in 1989 and has since been a pillar of our team, demonstrating outstanding service and dedication both on the road and in the community.
Beyond his professional achievements, Dave is also a community champion, participating in numerous events with the Tiger Train. When not on the road, Dave enjoys spending quality time with his spouse Teresa, boating, camping, and cherishing moments with his grandson.
We are extremely proud of Dave’s accomplishments, and his induction into the Hall of Fame is well deserved. Congratulations, Dave, on this remarkable milestone!
