Joseph Carroll of Elgin Motor Freight named TCA Highway Angel

We are proud to announce that the Truckload Carriers Association (TCA) has named Joseph Carroll, a driver from Elgin Motor Freight, a TCA Highway Angel.

On March 29, Joseph heroically rescued a driver trapped after a severe crash on I-75 near Wapakoneta, Ohio. Despite the chaos, he ensured the driver’s safety. Miraculously, the driver was unhurt, thanks to Joseph’s efforts.

Joseph’s quick thinking and bravery inspire us all. « I have to help. It’s who I am — I don’t care if I’m late for anything! » he said.
