At Tow Truck Operators USA, we’re kicking off March 2025—Women’s History Month with a heartfelt salute to the incredible women who keep the towing industry rolling. As of March 3, 2025, we honor you—nearly 5,000 strong—who hook up rigs, brave the elements, and answer the call day in and day out. You’re tow truck operators through and through, and we thank you for your dedication, skill, and resilience.

You’re part of the 4.4% of women in the industry who tow with relentless grit—4,928 women making a significant impact. Take Tricia Lee in Texas, expertly handling light-duty hauls, or Amy Ritchie in Ohio, clearing accident scenes with precision. Lisa Anderson, a heavy-duty rotator specialist, pulls semis from wreckage like a pro. Last week’s Northeast storm (Feb 24) was no exception—women like you were out there, clearing roads and keeping communities safe. You’re more than a statistic—you’re the backbone of the industry, working long shifts, braving harsh conditions, and demonstrating unmatched strength and skill.

This Women’s History Month, themed “Moving Forward Together”, is about you—the tow truck operators who inspire, lead, and push the industry to new heights. You are a powerful force in this $14.5 billion industry, and we’re proud to celebrate you. Your work makes a difference with every tow, every call, and every mile.

So, tow family, which women operators do you look up to? Drop their names or stories in the comments—we’re here to honor, respect, and cheer for you this March and beyond.
