Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and enthusiastic Bilingual Dispatcher to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the transport industry and a commitment to supporting our drivers, ensuring smooth and efficient operations. As a Dispatcher, you will be the critical link between our drivers and clients, ensuring timely and safe deliveries.
Responsibilities:
– Coordinate and manage the schedules of our fleet of trucks and tanks.
– Communicate effectively with drivers to provide them with their daily assignments.
– Monitor and track deliveries, ensuring adherence to schedules and addressing any issues that arise.
– Maintain accurate records of dispatch activities and delivery logs.
– Liaise with clients to confirm delivery details and provide updates.
– Ensure compliance with transportation regulations and company policies.
– Collaborate with other team members to optimize routes and improve efficiency.
Requirements:
– Bilingual proficiency (English and French).
– Previous experience in dispatching or a similar role in the transport industry.
– Strong organizational and multitasking skills.
– Excellent communication skills and the ability to work under pressure.
– Proficiency with dispatch and logistics software (AS400)
– A proactive and problem-solving attitude.
– Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays, as needed.
