Women In Trucking Association Announces Continued Gold Sponsorship with J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc.
The Women In Trucking Association (WIT) has announced that J.B. Hunt Transport Services, Inc. will continue its Gold Level sponsorship, reinforcing the association’s mission to promote gender diversity within the transportation and logistics industry.
Since 2015, J.B. Hunt has been a steadfast supporter of WIT at the Gold Level. Beyond financial contributions, the company actively engages with the association. Jennifer Plumlee, Vice President of Transportation at J.B. Hunt, serves on the WIT Board of Directors and acts as the WIT Board liaison on the Women In Trucking Foundation Board. Additionally, Jodi Edwards, a distinguished two-million-mile driver for J.B. Hunt and the 2024 WIT Driver of the Year, contributes her expertise as a member of the WIT Image Team.

Founded in 2007, the Women In Trucking Association serves as a resource for over 8,000 corporate and individual members across the United States, Canada, Mexico, Japan, Australia, Sweden, South Africa, and New Zealand. Recent achievements include the release of the 2023 WIT Index, a benchmark measuring the percentage of women in critical transportation roles, with participation from over 300 companies. The association has also awarded a deserving member a 2018 Volvo VNL670 in collaboration with Arrow Truck Sales, Inc., recognized over 300 leaders in transportation through various programs, and hosted more than 1,900 registered attendees at the 2023 Accelerate! Conference and Exhibition.
