Day & Ross Renews partnership with Truckers Against Trafficking

Day & Ross has renewed their Freedom Driver sponsorship of Truckers Against Trafficking (TAT) for the fourth consecutive year, committing $100,000 to support TAT’s mission of ending human trafficking across North America.

Highways, truck stops, and roadside restaurants are frequently exploited by traffickers to facilitate their operations. TAT collaborates with the transportation industry to educate and equip drivers to combat these exploitative practices effectively.

Beyond financial contributions, Day & Ross has been instrumental in raising awareness within the communities they serve. On June 18, they hosted TAT’s mobile exhibit at their Cincinnati terminal, and last week, they transported it across the border to their terminal in Calgary, Alberta. This 48-foot trailer, featuring a theater and artifacts from actual trafficking cases, was open for tours by employees, drivers, and customers. Notably, Day & Ross became the first TAT partner to bring this mobile exhibit to Canada in 2022.

“We recognize that truckers are in a unique position to make a difference and help combat human trafficking,” said Bill Doherty, CEO. “We’re proud to do our part to support this important cause and equip our teams with education and training to do the same.”

By renewing their sponsorship and continuing their awareness initiatives, Day & Ross remains committed to supporting TAT in their vital efforts to end human trafficking across North America.
