Lion Electric debuts revolutionary Lion8 tractor at ACT Expo




At the prestigious ACT Expo in Las Vegas, Lion Electric has taken a significant step forward in sustainable transport by unveiling its latest innovation, the all-electric Class 8 Lion8 tractor.

This new vehicle combines advanced technology with environmental sustainability, setting new standards in the electric vehicle (EV) market.
The Lion8 Tractor features a robust 6×4 axle configuration with dual 2-speed eAxles, optimizing power distribution and efficiency. The design includes a Lion-engineered cab-forward structure that enhances driver visibility and maneuverability, essential for modern freight transport.
Equipped with Lion’s Heavy-Duty battery packs, the Lion8 offers a battery capacity of up to 630 kWh, enabling a driving range of up to 275 miles (440 kilometers) on a single charge. Additionally, the tractor can be charged to 80% of its battery capacity in just about 1.5 hours at maximum power, maximizing uptime and productivity for fleet operators.
