Kenan Advantage Group Acquires Evergreen Transport to Strengthen Dry Bulk Division

Kenan Advantage Group (KAG) has acquired Evergreen Transport, a Mobile, Alabama-based dry bulk hauler specializing in ash, cement, lime, sand, and food-grade commodities. The company operates 158 tractors and 338 trailers across four Alabama terminals, offering dump trailer, flatbed, and container services.

With this acquisition, approximately 100 drivers and 45 operational employees will join KAG’s network. Financial details were not disclosed.

Rick Hoyle, KAG’s Senior VP of Dry Bulk, called the move a strategic fit for KAG’s expansion, highlighting Evergreen’s customer-centric approach and diverse market reach.

Evergreen President David Wildberger emphasized the importance of aligning with a company that values its employees and customers, ensuring continuity and growth within KAG’s expanding dry bulk platform.

This acquisition reinforces KAG’s position as a key player in dry bulk transportation, strengthening its capabilities and market presence.
