
[XTL Transport] Keurig Dr Pepper Canada chooses Calgary region for new western distribution Center
Balzac, Alberta, July 22, 2024 – Keurig Canada Inc., operating as Keurig Dr Pepper Canada (KDP Canada), today announced an expansion of its distribution capabilities through an agreement with Groupe XTL (XTL) for the lease of 100,000 square feet in its new warehouse in Balzac, a town near Calgary. This strategic expansion aims to significantly enhance the company’s ability to serve its growing customer base in Western Canada and partly support the creation of 50 new jobs for Albertans. By strengthening its supply chain network and improving operational efficiency, KDP Canada aims to meet the increasing demand for its diverse product range and support its ongoing growth.
Spanning an impressive 474,000 square feet, this state-of-the-art facility is managed and operated by Groupe XTL. It features a 40-foot clearance, 16,000 storage positions, over 400,000 square feet of bulk storage, 112 loading doors, 120 trailer parking spaces, and is C-TPAT certified, making it an ideal choice for storing bottled beverages, coffee products, and small household appliances.
Keurig Dr Pepper Canada’s operations from XTL’s new distribution center will commence in July 2024. Other terms of the agreement were not disclosed.
